Let us celebrate the 249Th Anniversary of Edmund’s birth.
For people to remember that today is his birthday speaks volumes for the difference his life has made on the world as we know it. Great people are remembered not just for what they did but for who they were and are – Edmund is such a person.
His life and his service and his courage to stand up for justice remind us today that we have this heritage as gift.
We carry on his work and we are his legacy to our world.
Let us rejoice and let us live our lives today passionately with presence, compassion and liberation as our hope, our guide and our action.
