After years of dreaming and conversations,
the SA Province Team and
SA EREA Schools are delighted
to announce the launch of the

BUILD THE BRIDGE PROJECT (SA)

This initiative seeks to create a real path of connectivity between the senior students within a school community and the Edmund Rice Network. In short, it seeks to expand the breadth of experience possible within the Edmund Rice Network for young people. By connecting senior students to an active ‘bigger picture view’ while they are still engaged in a community where their openness and enthusiasm is appropriately encouraged, we aim to cultivate a relationship which can find expression beyond the boundaries of the school property and beyond the time limits of graduation celebrations.

The Inspiration

• To walk with young people and accompany them in their spiritual search as they engage in outreach with people at the margins.
• To open our hearts to the cry of the poor and the earth and to be moved to prophetic action through advocacy and works of justice.
• To allow the charism of Edmund to ‘fly free’ with freshness into finding new expression.
