Christian Brothers New Life

On 11 April 2011 at a meeting in Adelaide of the EREA Board, Des Powell (chair) and Peter Harney (Deputy Province Leader) signed a Memorandum of Understanding between EREA and the Province. The Oceania Province and EREA want equitable support of the Province’s outreach ministries with proper transparency and accountability. All funds from the schools, organizations and individuals for overseas development are to be directed through the Edmund Rice Foundation as it is the agency for assisting the development works of the Christian Brothers and their partners. EREA is supportive of the Congregation ministries and gives active encouragement to schools to direct fundraising efforts to Congregation Ministries.
