EREA Schools and Entities

Edmund Rice Education Australia was established by the Christian Brothers in 2007 to continue the Catholic Church’s mission of providing quality catholic education in 40 schools and 2 entities located in all states of Australia and the Australian Capital Territory.

Today these 40 schools together with Nudgee International College and Indooroopilly Montessori Children’s House are governed nationally by the Edmund Rice Education Australia Board through a National Executive and staff based in Richmond Melbourne.

There are Regional Centres in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne  and Perth that support the schools and entities within their regional context.

The 40 schools operate within a framework of common values and are linked through their commitment to the Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition.

Missioned by the Catholic Church through excellence in Catholic Education, Edmund Rice Education Australia will transform the minds and hearts of young Australians to build a more just, tolerant and inclusive community.
