Sacred Earth

The Sacred Earth Course at Glenburn provides an opportunity for people to spend time on the spiritual and ecological dimensions of their lives. It is a twelve-week residential course in a rural setting. The course offer space for reflection, discussion and education in a relaxed rhythm of life. There is an opportunity to pursue life-changing experiences and learnings. The Centre wishes to be inclusive and welcomes all interested in the link between ecology and spirituality. The Sacred Earth Course is offered each year commencing early February.

At the end of the twelve week course a nine day Retreat/Tour is offered to Lake Mungo, and the Flinders Ranges. Lake Mungo is an ancient dry lake bed in far west New south Wales, with a rich indigenous tradition of sacred sites. The Flinders Ranges in central south Australia is a beautiful but remote range of unique geological interest. The earliest life forms are represented in the fossils found there.

Flinders Ranges Retreats

Twice a year we travel to the Flinders Ranges for a retreat (see above). For several days we stay in shearers' quarters and travel out to the various canyons and beautiful sites to be found in the area. For a look at the kind of country we travel through click on the link below. More details can be seen on the Calendar page.
