Brisbane, Qld, Australia
I am not sure if NAIDOC Week is celebrated at the same time throughout Australia.
The official launch of the NAIDOC week celebrations, in Brisbane, will take place in King George Square on Monday 4th July at 10am until 3pm. Entertainment includes traditional dance and contemporary performances and there will be authentic Australian Indigenous arts and craft items for sale. RQI will have an information stall in the Photographic tent so please come along and lend us your support!!
On Friday 8th July RQI will be at the NAIDOC Musgrave Park Family Fun Day. This runs from 10am until 10pm at night and is South East Queensland largest NAIDOC festival! There will be Free Kids Rides, Live Entertainment, Info Stalls, Traditional Food, Traditional Dance, Youth Stage, JC Epidemic, Side Show Alley, Elders Tent, Fun For The Whole Family!!!
We look forward to seeing you all there.
