Sydney, NSW, Australia
The teacher and principal Brother Paul Leary got things done at his schools, no matter what the cost. Once he was heard to exclaim to a stunned electrical contractor: "Well, you'd better give me a good price - I'm working stacking shelves in Coles to pay for all this!"
He always left his appointments in better condition than when he arrived - even going to Papua New Guinea for a time to help clean up a school after a volcanic eruption.
This is the beginning of a tribute to Paul printed in the Sydney Morning Herald.
