Structuring the Organisation

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. All who believed were together and had things in common;they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need.

(Acts 2/42, 44-45)

John Paul II, Christifideles Laici, 58, 1988

Give to the poor in handfuls Edmund Rice, Founder of the Christian Brothers …the rapidly changing world …sets a new agenda for the Church. In these changing circumstances we are called to discover anew what the true following of Jesus requires of us in the spirit of Edmund…

Restructuring is an urgent call to transform minds and hearts. It facilitates new life in mission and ministry, promotes prophetic religious living and ensures a redistribution of resources in a spirit of fraternity.

Congregation Chapter 2002

Philip Pinto cfc, Congregation Leader, 2006
