What a wonderful day on December 10th 2011! We were fortunate to have the privilege of lauding the life and times of eight of our men. Well-deserved praise and well-selected words by our eight “pen picture” speakers! The Eucharist was a moving time and one that was fittingly celebrated by our six celebrants. To have so many brothers of our brothers as celebrants added to the ceremony. Gerard Hall spoke eloquently of the connectivity of lives well lived and the International Day of Human Rights. No attendee would have left the occasion without the realization that here was group of men who had given in total 440 years of commitment to deepening their own spiritual lives so that they could be more effective instruments of God’s presence in our world.

May your Jubilee year, 2012, see you grow in the love of God and in the relationship with all Creation as our brothers. Thank you for who you are for us and others.
The following comment speaks of how others see us:
“It was a pleasure and a privilege to share today with you and the other Jubilarians. Ian and I were delighted to be there.
Would you please pass on my personal thanks to those Brothers who were responsible for such a wonderful celebration? Every aspect was excellent ..... the Liturgy was so meaningful and moving, the Booklet was beautifully compiled and produced, the Catering was of such a high standard (both the food and the service), and the setting provided by the St Leo's staff was pleasant and comfortable.
In addition there was the friendliness of so many Brothers towards us, guests they didn't even know. What a great group of men! Edmund would surely have been smiling down on every one of you!
Most of all I want to say how impressed I was by the sense of community so evident in the Eucharistic Liturgy and during the luncheon. That sense of Community and Brotherly love was absolutely palpable - indeed I can still 'feel it'. Thank you for allowing me to experience it.”
