This will become a regular item in the News Items on the Front Page of the Oceania Website. Sangeeta Mahajan has tendered her resignation as CEO of Nudgee International College. Sangeeta has provided visionary leadership to the College through difficult times and will be sorely missed by those who have worked with her and the broader EREA community.

Some news from Helen Mulheron - Facilitator of the Oamaru Reflection Group and Choir Director of the Edmund Rice Singers at St Kevin's College.
A Journey to visit and contribute to the Brothers mission in Kolkata.
Hi All,
Hard to believe I've been in Calcutta 1 week! .... Up at 5.30 in the mornings with Mass at 6.30 - my room is in the side of the chapel and I almost walk out onto the altar!
Each morning I have been going to the Mary Rice Centre here at St Mary's, this is a Special Needs unit and I have been providing keyboard accompaniment for songs and dances - the kids have loved it and all come and shake my hand at the end, they're beautiful.

Our Elders Meet at Kincumber |
||
![]() |
Our Elder Time at Kincumber is almost finished. It has been a graced time of memories, sharing, and of receiving new and fresh inputs with challenge. CREAT left yesterday, and Ted and Ian have carried on. As part of the experience at Kincumber, our elders went to Eucharist in the nearby Kincumber Parish Church. Being All Saints, the primary school attended with the usual congregation. All the Elders agreed that it was a most uplifting experience. We felt that our children were in safe hands. |

Tony Whelan Awarded Fellowship in ACEL |
||
![]() |
Congratulations once again to our Brother Tony Whelan, who was recently installed as a Fellow at the annual conference of the ACEL (Australian Council for Educational Leaders) held in Adelaide. Tony, who's been resident at Chatswood for many years, is - as many will know - getting 'closer' to retirement after a lifetime dedicated to Catholic education. Tony has been Director of the Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Broken Bay for the last 12 years and anticipates that he will be handing over at some stage in the early part of 2012. |
