Edmund Rice Mentoring Support
Mentors undertake a range of activities with their mentees according to the interests of the mentoring pair and the specific goals identified for each mentoring relationship.
Another important aspect of the Mentoring program is the development of a safe and supportive community of mentors and mentees who share life and fun together and learn from one another in a variety of informal environments. The mentoring group comes together once per month for activities including picnics, beach trips, movies, bowling, cooking, hiking and more.
Each year there is an end of year mentoring camp and Christmas celebration.
Edmund Rice Camps and Edmund Rice Mentoring Support are ministries of the Christian Brothers’ Oceania Province. For more information on the work of the Christian Brothers in Oceania.

Trad camps are generally 4-day (Tuesday to Friday) dormitory camp experiences, where each participant is buddied up one-on-one with a leader. (Each camp also includes 'Leaders Day' - the Monday of camp - where the volunteers get to meet each other and prepare for the week).
Camps are split into age groups, so that the activites are age-appropriate for the children.
