Framed by our Oceania Province Values our Missiology Statement brings to life the
faith based, multi-dimensional and challenging nature of Province Mission .
It is faith based by virtue of its identity, multi-dimensional because of its history, diversity and complexity, and challenging due to the ever deepening appreciation of the sacredness of Mission and the authentic response of the Congregation to be more engaged with a graced but troubled world.
Province Mission endeavours to be aligned with the Gospel of Jesus, the response of Edmund, the Church Community, and Congregation.
At the same time it seeks to be steeped in the dynamic life of the Spirit, inviting awareness and engagement through reflection and collaboration.
It is a mission about being and doing; living, dying and rising which is inspired by the person of Jesus and his kingdom vision.
It is a unique mission that is evident in Edmund’s response to the Gospel and the Tradition of the Christian Brothers. It is a mission that reflects the Church’s universal goals of message and witness; community; service; and celebration.
